MAPLE CHAIR - Description

The Maple Dining Chair draws inspiration from classic Scandinavian craftsmanship through its sculptural curved backrest, exposed wood joinery and handwoven seat. A continuous rounded rail wraps around the body to form both the back and gently sloping arms, while a distinctive Y-shaped central support adds visual balance and reinforces the chair’s recognizable silhouette.

Crafted from American maple in a warm natural SW009 finish, the frame features smooth contours, tapered legs and integrated stretchers that emphasize its light, handcrafted appearance. The seat is woven from natural paper cord in an envelope-style pattern, with diagonal sections meeting at the center to create texture and subtle geometric movement. Compact yet expressive, the Maple Chair is a versatile addition to a dining room, breakfast nook, writing desk or occasional seating arrangement.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Dust the wooden frame regularly with a clean, soft microfiber cloth. If necessary, wipe it gently with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not use abrasive cleaners, furniture polish, solvents or harsh chemicals.

Remove dust from the paper-cord seat with a soft brush or vacuum using a clean, low-suction brush attachment. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry and absorbent cloth; do not rub or saturate the fibers. Avoid prolonged moisture, excessive humidity and concentrated pressure on individual cords. Keep the chair indoors and away from direct sunlight, rain and heat sources to help prevent fading, drying, stretching or weakening of the natural materials.

PRODUCT NOTE

One of the two available chairs has visible damage and surface marks on the woven paper-cord seat, as shown in the stock images. The second chair does not have this specific damage but may still present minor scratches, finish variations or signs of showroom and warehouse handling. Natural differences in the maple grain, paper-cord tone and woven pattern are inherent characteristics of the materials. Please review all stock images carefully before purchasing. Each chair is sold individually and as-is.
