The Pilón Artwork created by multidisciplinary artist Mono Giraud, reflects her exploration of simplicity, organic materials and the relationship between people and the natural world. A standing female figure dressed in flowing white fabric is partially concealed behind an abundant arrangement of woven baskets, transforming familiar handcrafted objects into a sculptural composition. The baskets’ circular patterns, varied proportions and natural fibers create rhythm and texture, while the hidden face introduces a quiet sense of mystery and invites attention to the materials themselves.
